LadyBug Spinning was inspired when I sold my old spinning wheels to purchase my Schacht LadyBug spinning wheel. This blog follows my journey with spinning, knitting, and natural dying. As you see, this blog is about "playing" with fiber and includes some highlights from a visit to Scotland's Islands... Shetland, Orkney, and the Outer Hebrides.

We Made It!
Arriving into Iceland. 48*F is wicked chilly for the 4th of July. $7 for 2 very small cups of coffee....onward!
After taking a bus to our hotel we looked for an international SIM card. No luck because my phone is locked. Dang it. Followed by a wonderful shower at our very nice room in Glasgow. It felt great after being enroute for a good part of a full day. Notice the sign on the lower right. The towels are warmed on a heated bar!
Followed by a complimentary scotch whiskey from the room's free mini bar. Comes complete with cut crystal and all. So elegant. Cheers!
Now to meet the others in our group and have dinner.
Stay tuned and Happy 4th!
Mary and Lesley
