Several of us took a tour up north to the Scottish Highlands. When the day was over we were discussing what we liked best. It was rather unanimous that the natural beauty of the area is what we enjoyed. And our guide made the trip fun and educational. Touristy yes but that was ok. We are in Scotland after all! We saw bens(mts), glens(valleys), lochs(lakes), castles,and harrrry coos (Highland hairy cows)(and roll those rrrrss). I hope you get a sense of the beauty through a few photos from the day.

Off to the Shetland Islands tomorrow for a week. This is what I'm waiting for! Doubt I'll blog every evening but I'll try to keep this updated.
